PRC observes Eid Al - Fitr celebrationLucena, July 5, 2016 --- Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9177 and Proclamation No. 6, Series of 2016, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the temporary suspension of services on July 6, 2016, Wednesday, in celebration of the Eid’l - Fitr, marking the end of the month-long fast during Ramadan and marks the beginning of the month Shawwal.
PRC will resume its normal operations on Thursday, July 7, 2016.

March 2016 Results of Licensure Examination for Teachers released in forty-one (41) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 12,128 elementary teachers out of 42,739 examinees (28.38%) and 18,810 secondary teachers out of 53,090 examinees (35.43%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 20, 2016 in twenty testing centers all over the Philippines. It is further announced that of the 12,128 elementary teacher passers, 3,906 are first timers and 8,222 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 10,747 passers are first timers and 8,063 are repeaters.
The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.
The results of examination with respect to twenty-three (23) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag); 3) two sets of documentary stamps. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 3,928 out of 16,435 passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Criminology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last April 2016.
The members of the Board of Criminology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman; Hon. George O. Fernandez and Hon. Ruben A. Sta. Teresa, Members.
The results were released in eleven (11) working days from the last day of examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 9,114 out of 18,500 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last November 2015.
The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensure examination are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Perla G. Po, Gloria B. Arcos, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Glenda S. Arquiza and Florence C. Cawaon, Members.
Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 21,461 elementary teachers out of 68,442 examinees (31.36%) and 34,010 secondary teachers out of 81,463 examinees (41.75%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last September 27, 2015 in Hong Kong and 26 testing centers all over the Philippines. It is further announced that of the 21,461 elementary teacher passers, 20,145 are first timers and 1,316 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 29,443 passers are first timers and 4,567 are repeaters.

Manila, July 20, 2015 – The Professional Regulation Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers today announced the inclusion of Catarman, Northern Samar and Oriental Mindoro as additional testing centers for the September 2015 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.
The announcement was made in view of Board for Professional Teachers Resolution No. 2015-04, and Resolution No. 2015-11, series of 2015.
Aside from the added testing centers, the September 2015 Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers will also be held simultaneously in the cities of Manila, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Rosales, Pangasinan and all Regional Offices.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 884 out of 1,886 Registered Electrical Engineers and 1,134 out of 2,705 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena this April 2015.
The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Francis V. Mapile, Officer-In-Charge and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, Member.
The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examinations.
